Stores Engineer

Role Overview

Manage project material receipt, storage, issue, inventory accuracy, and coordination with purchase and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive project materials, verify against PO/Invoices, and perform quality checks.
  • Organize storage, maintain inventory records (physical & ERP), and perform regular audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and site teams for material availability.
  • Issue materials to production/site teams based on indents and track usage.
  • Manage documentation, including GRNs, Delivery Challans, and Gate Passes.
  • Ensure safety, housekeeping, and proper material handling within the stores.

Preferred Qualification / Skills

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Store/Warehouse management for industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Custom ERP) and MS Office (Excel).
  • Understanding of material handling, safety norms, and inventory control techniques.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
