Pre-Sales Engineer
Role Overview
Support the sales team by converting customer requirements into technically strong automation proposals and solution concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand customer technical requirements related to automation and robotic systems.
- Develop detailed technical proposals, conceptual designs, and feasibility reports.
- Prepare accurate cost estimations and cycle time analysis for proposed solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and solution demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are executable.
- Assist the sales team in identifying technical risks and providing mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualification / Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales or technical proposal engineering in the automation industry.
- Strong understanding of industrial robotics, SPM, and welding automation.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) for basic conceptual layouts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and manufacturing standards.
