Robotic Engineer

Role Overview Develop, program, commission, and support robotic automation systems for welding, handling, assembly, laser processing, and spot welding applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and commission 6-axis industrial robots. Develop robotic welding, handling, pick-and-place, and assembly sequences. Support robot simulation, reach study, cycle-time validation, and fixture integration. Configure robot safety, interlocks, sensors, and peripheral equipment. Support MIG, TIG, laser, spot welding, and material-handling applications. Conduct robot trials, FAT, installation, and customer-site commissioning. Train customer operators and maintenance teams. Prepare robot backups, documentation, and service reports.
Preferred Qualification / Skills
  • Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Automation. Experience with Yaskawa, ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, Kawasaki, or similar robots preferred. Knowledge of welding automation, robot safety, and industrial communication is an advantage. Willingness to travel for commissioning.
