Process Engineer
Role Overview
Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes for automation projects, robotic welding, assembly lines, and customer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product designs to establish efficient manufacturing processes and cycle times.
- Define process flows, assembly sequences, and robotic workstation layouts.
- Validate welding parameters and automation sequences to meet quality standards.
- Support design teams in DFA (Design for Assembly) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- Liaise with customers to understand application requirements and troubleshoot process issues.
- Identify opportunities for yield improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
Preferred Qualification / Skills
- Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in automation, robotic systems, or heavy engineering production.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Familiarity with welding processes and industrial safety standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven process improvements.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models.
